b. 1979. Rimpei Yoshikawa took his first steps in classical French cuisine during his student years, before expanding his culinary vocabulary through his travels across Morocco, France, Mexico and the United States.

He opens Pignon in 2010, naming it after the main character of one of his favorite French films: "Le Dîner de cons".
